Pro Logic makes managing pool and spa functions as simple as possible. Automatically or with the push of a button, pool owners can control everything from water flow for sanitation, to underwater lights, water features and heaters, and now we can automate water chemistry with our new integrated Total Pool Chemistry™ option. Total Pool Chemistry automatically senses ORP and pH levels and dispenses a self-renewing supply of fresh, pure chlorine and controls pH delivering the most consistent water quality possible.

Pro Logic manages all these functions easily and it even operates other backyard functions, like ColorLogic LED Lights, sprinklers, water features and outdoor lighting. With the whole backyard set to one simple remote, pool owners can just sit back and relax.

Pro Logic, along with an optional electronic chlorination kit, automatically turns a small amount of ordinary salt into a self-renewing supply of fresh, pure chlorine.

• Optional, fully integrated Total Pool Chemistry (AQL-CHEM and AQL-CHEM2). These optional modules automatically sense and dispense chlorine and acid as needed. The AQL-CHEM will sense pH and ORP levels, and dispense chlorine. The AQL-CHEM2 will dispense acid, etc.
• Purchase the optional turbo salt cell (T-CELL-15).  The salt chlorinator is capable of producing 1.45 pounds of chlorine per day!
• The Aqua Connect interface option allows the Pro Logic to manage the pool and spa via an interface with home automation systems, like Creston.
• Use the optional ColorLogic Communication Modules to synchronize the color settings of more than 1 ColorLogic LED light.
• The virtual version of Pro-Logic, PL-PS-8-V and PL-PS-16-V, include 4 / 12 relays and 4 additional soft keys.  The soft keys provide the capability to setup macros or multi-functions that will turn on and off multiple pieces of equipment with the touch of a single key.

** PURCHASE GUIDE **

To purchase one of these systems, you must select a Base system, a Remote Control, and optional Accessories.

Base System - You need to select a Pro Logic system.

If you have a single body of water (pool only or spa only) and a need to automate fewer than 5 functions, then select P-4 model.

If you have a pool/spa combination and have fewer than 9 functions, then select the PS-8 model.

If you have a pool/spa combination and have fewer than 17 functions, then call our Sales Department for pricing and availability.

Remote Control Options - Wired or Wireless?

If you want a WIRELESS remote, you have several choices:

1. Aquapod Waterproof Remote (AQL2-POD)
2. Wireless Wall Mount Remove AQL2-WX-RF-PS-X)
3. Wireless Table Top Remote (AQL2-TX-RF-P-X)

Note: If you purchase a wireless remote, you will also need to purchase a Wireless Receiver Base(AQL2-BASE-RF).

If you want a WIRED remote, you have several choices:

1. Wired Wall Mount Remote (AQL2-Wx-PS-x)
2. 6 - Function Spa-Side Remote (AQL-SS-6B-X)
3. 8 - Function Digital Spa-Side Remote (AQL-SS-D-W)

Optional Accessories

 If you ordered a Pool/Spa model (PS-4, PS-8, PS-16), you will need two Valve Actuators. (GVA-24).  Additional actuators may be required for water features.

If you'd like to bundle in Salt Water Chlorination (and save $450 discount off regular price), you'll need the Chlorinator Kit Option> (T-CELL- 5, or 15).

If you'd like Water Chemistry Automation, you'll need to purchase the Hayward Sense and Dispense modules:

1. If you'd like ORP and pH sensing along with ORP (chlorine) dispense, you'll need to purchase Chemistry Kit 1 (AQL-Chem).
2. If you'd like pH dispense, you'll need Chemistry Kit 2 (AQL-CHEM2).
3. If you'd like both, you can order both (AQL-CHEM1 and AQL-CHEM2).

If you have ColorLogic 4.0 and want to take advantage of all of its features,  you'll need to purchase the LED Communication Module (AQL-COLOR-MODHV).

The Canadian Federal government stresses that all salt chlorine generators must be registered with PMRA of Health Canada.   This agency is responsible for the regulation of microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses and algae in swimming pools and spas under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act (PCPA).   The PMRA reviews applications for registration on the basis of scientific information to access hazards to human health.   Devices which are registered are identified by the following statement on the front of the label.   “REGISTRATION NO. 00000 PEST CONTROL PRODUCTS ACT (PCPA)” or Reg. NO. 00000 PCPA.   Under the Act, it is a violation to import/ and or sell unregistered “control products".
